About Dean

Dean started exercising in 2003 at a Private Gym called Protea Glen where he eventually trained with body building champions, Amos Madela and John Leslie. Starting at a weight of 64kgs, he put on 37kgs over three years with a healthy eating regimen, hard work and commitment.

In 2009, he was appointed to work at K 90 Virgin Active Boksburg. From there, he moved to Virgin Active, Glen Vista where he remained working for a further 11 years. After Dean moved with his family to Durban he got a position at Virgin Active Hillcrest where he works as an on-duty manager.

Qualifications:

Dean’s qualifications include:

One year personal training course (2010) through Virgin Active;

Six month Basic Science Course through Virgin Active

Holistic Massage, South African College of Hair and Beauty (2020-2022)

Dean is passionate about health, fitness, holistic wellness and healing.


Interests:

In his spare time, Dean enjoys tennis, rugby, cricket and soccer and is an avid supporter of our National Teams as well as Manchester United and Nadal.
